Ahmed meets Farah on their first day at university in Paris, where they study Arabic poetry. They are polar opposites. Ahmed has a clear picture of how one should live one’s life and of the rules by which it should be lived. Farah wants to be free and doesn’t let rules steer her day-to-day life. A really excellent film about discovering life and struggling against unwritten rules and prejudices.
