Lena, a skilled sailor, loses her father—her biggest role model—in a fishing boat accident. While grieving, she becomes obsessed with the idea that it was a sea monster that caused the accident and so, together with her friends, she starts to investigate. This is an excellent depiction of a young person’s grieving and maturing process.
