Lucía is ten years old and lives in Bolivia on a small island, Isla del sol, in Lake Titicaca. When her father leaves on his travels, she has difficulty thinking about anything other than how much she misses him. She sends messages in bottles and starts imagining what it would be like to have her own boat. Luckily, she has her friend, Sebastian, with whom she can talk about her longing and her dreams.
