Doktor Blom assumes responsibility for Lisa’s care because he thinks that her mum, Mona, who runs a launderette, isn’t fit to be a good mother. Against Lisa’s will, she is placed with the chic Madam Büchner. Lisa misses her mother so much and gets some unexpected help from two tramps called Sture and Bill.
