Thirteen year old Pep is in love with Sara and is terrified to find out that she has vanished without a trace – until he finds her in his own bedroom. Over a few summer days, behind a closed bedroom door, a story plays out which, at least for Pep, will have great meaning for the rest of his life. The film captures precisely that moment where the child becomes the youth.
