Lane grows up with her mum and two younger siblings in a hippy community in California. When her mum refuses to abide by the community’s rules, and objects to Lane attending school, the family leaves and begins moving around from place to place. While her mum just meditates, Lane tries to hold the family together. But one day, Lane has had enough, and she walks out. About being a parent for your parent, and standing up for yourself.
