Dunderklumpen is a kind troll who lives alone in a very solitary part of Jämtland’s fells. One Midsummer’s Eve, when he is feeling at his most lonely, he goes out in search of friends. He finds them among Jens’ younger sister’s dolls and cuddly toys. Their names are Pellegnillot, Lejonel, Dockan and En-Dum-En. He brings the dolls to life and takes them and a treasure chest on an adventure. Jens hears the dolls’ cries for help and chases after Dunderklumpen along with his father, Beppe.
