James is a mentally unstable teenage boy who loves poetry. He speaks about his anxiety and social phobia with Dr Bird, an imaginary psychiatrist in the image of a pigeon. With help from Sophie, he tries to find his sister, who has vanished and left his family in trauma. A funny and imaginatively told film that reminds one of Wes Anderson’s work.
