Nedjma hangs out with her friends in a Parisian suburb when Zina enters her life. Zina has just moved to the area, and her cousin is a member of the rival girl gang. Trouble flares up when Zina accidentally sits on “the wrong bench”. Other emotions flare up, too, between Zina and Nedjma. This is a film about being young in Paris, impossible love, enemies – and about daring to be the person you are.
