Seventeen-year old Simone has been struggling with her self image and body ideals for a long time. When Freeman, a 22-year old from Ghana, contacts her via Instagram she can hardly believe her eyes. An intense period of messaging back and forth ensues and before long Freeman would like to visit Simone in Denmark. However, Simone’s mum is not overjoyed by the idea and questions if Freeman is who he says he is. An unusual and beautiful depiction of love and coming of age.
