Daniel is a tricky, small-time criminal from Hamburg. He is sent to Greece, near to the border with Turkey, where he will learn how to tow the line. He misses his dog and wants to get home whatever the cost. One day, he follows a homeless vagrant which leads him to a Syrian refugee boy, who is in hiding with his father. Maybe together they can find a way to get themselves to Germany?
