Eighteen-year old Nedjma is a girl interested in fashion, growing up in Algeria in the 90s. When the society around her grows more conservative, she realises how, as a young woman, her freedom shrinks. Determined to put on her own fashion show, she defies the law and fights for freedom and independence. But to what cost?
