Arash lives with his family in a village in Iran. He’s fascinated by horses and one night he makes his way out into the forest on horseback, without his parents’ permission. There’s an accident, and Arash damages his sight. His parents need to scrape together the money for an operation, but Arash doesn’t dare tell the truth about what happened.
