15 PARTICIPANTS + 5 DAYS = 5 ANIMATION SHORT FILMS
Tomorrow the international Nisi Masa workshop on stop motion animation begins! 15 participants will make 5 shorts in 5 days and screen them on the 6th day, during the final day of BUFF.

ALREADY WORKING ON THE SCRIPTS
The teams have been in pre-production for about a month and developed scripts based on ideas by the directors from each team. The scripts are now ready to be made into films. The script writing has been guided by the tutor Janne Vierth, who is a screen writer for children’s films and TV shows. The character design has been developed with tutoring from Lotta Geffenblad, illustrator, director and producer of many children’s films. During the workshop the teams will be guided by Mikael Lindbom, animator and owner at Dockhus Animation.

During the week, each team will make a 1-2 minute stop motion film, in different kinds of materials, with the target audience of children 7-12 years old in mind.
